Verdict
As with Chantabbai and the more current Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya, Agent Anand Santhosh’s story isn’t especially original, but Shanmukh’s comic timing and the show’s creators’ clever use of his skills kept the miniseries entertaining. The creators of the series and the story made full advantage of Shanmukh’s trademark comic timing. The equivalent would be seven or eight episodes.
When the tone shifts to something more serious, we lose interest because the plot doesn’t seem like it belongs in a series; kidnappings are happening in the city, but they don’t feel like they belong there. We enjoyed the lighter moments, but as soon as the tone becomes more serious, we become disinterested. The show is enjoyable thanks to its few comedic bits and realistic action scenes filmed in historic city neighborhoods. In addition, Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya comes to mind as a comparison.
Although Shanmukh Jaswanth does a respectable job portraying Anand Santhosh, there are many instances where he comes off as the same old Shanmukh. Even if this isn’t very noteworthy, we should nevertheless praise him for his change and the other actors for giving it their all.
The authors of this series are Subbu K and Shanmukh, who previously worked in the software development sector. Although he managed a few blocks very well, Arun Pawar was unable to make the information entertaining. We hope to see more content from him in the future.
While many of the scenes are oversaturated, some are well-done, and Ajay Arasada’s incredible work helped save the series in many ways. Additionally, the other technical teams gave it they are all.
Agent Anand Santhosh provides those looking for a well-written detective series with their solution.
