A few films generate curiosity with their promos and trailers but fail to meet the expectations in the theaters. One such film released in Tamil recently was “Akkenam.”
The protagonist role in the film was well written in this film, but the layered narrative and lack of character depth in other characters from the movie made it a below-average film.
The post-theatrical OTT streaming rights for this film are acquired by the Aha Tamil OTT platform. They have now announced that the film will be available for streaming on their platform on August 15, 2025, on the occasion of Indian Independence Day.
This thriller film starred Keerthi Pandian, Arun Pandian, Adithya Shivpink, Adithya Menon, Praveen Raja, Ramesh Thilak, Seetha, G.M. Sundar, and a few others in prominent roles.
Arun Pandian produced the film under the A&P Groups banner. K. Uday is the writer and director of this film. Barath Veeraraghavan is the music composer, Devathyan is the editor, and Vignesh Govindarajan.
