“Mufti” was one of the biggest blockbusters in the Kannada film industry. A prequel was announced with the title “Bhairathi Ranagal,” with the response received for the character played by Shiva Rajkumar from the Mufti movie.
This film was also released in Tamil and Telugu languages one week later from its Kannada release. This film is now streaming on the Amazon Prime Video platform from December 26, 2024.
Shiva Rajkumar and Rukmini Vasanth played the lead roles. Rahul Bose, Devaraj, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Vasishta N. Simha, Chaya Singh, and a few others played other prominent roles in the film.
Written and directed by Narthan, this film was produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar under the banner of Geetha Pictures. Ravi Basrur is the music composer, and Naveen Kumar handled the camera.
