Bhediya is one such movie which has mix of many genres like horror, comedy, fiction, drama that will make the audience feel excited while watching it on screen. But the biggest plus in this movie is undoubtedly comedy. Storyline of this movie is very simple and many scenes are very predictable, but the comedy situations that are created throughout the movie will definitely make the audience laugh till the end. Though the storyline and the premise looks new, we should not concentrate more on the logics, that makes this movie an entertaining watch this weekend. There are few flaws in the making of this movie that can be ignored as well.

While it comes to acting, every actor in the movie have done a decent job. Varun Dhawan is the major highlight of this film while it comes to acting. He has done a great job in showcasing different emotions, though comedy scenes involving him might feel routine. Kriti Sanon looks might disappoint her fans and her performance looks okay. Abhishek Banerjee, Paalin Kabak as Varun’s close friends were able to create some fun with their performances. Deepak Dobriyal has limited screen time, yet he managed to evoke few laughs. All other actors did their part well as required for the story.

Technically Bhediya movie looks good. Music composed by Sachin – Jigar are groovy, especially the song ‘Thumkeswari’ and the background music is apt for the proceedings. Cinematography by Jishnu Bhattacharjee is another major highlight of this movie, he was able to create some fantastic visuals that look stunning on big screen. Editing by Sanyukta Kaza is crisp. Production values by Maddock Films are high.

Director Amar Kaushik who entertained audience with ‘Stree’ and ‘Bala’ earlier has once again successful in entertaining the audience to some extent. If he could have focused a little on the story, Bhediya could have been much better as this movie has all the ingredients in the right place that can entertain all section of audience.

Overall, Bhediya is a fun-filled thrilling entertainer that can be watched in theatres for some good comedy scenes and grandeur.
