Bhimaa digitally premiered on Hotstar on 25 April 2024. Actor Gopichand is the son of veteran filmmaker Krishna, who gave some thought-provoking blockbusters in the past. Gopichand started his career as an actor with the movie “Tholi Valapu” that released in 2001, directed by Muthyala Subbaiah, co-starring Sneha. But he got the recognition as an actor only with his second movie “Jayam” in which he played a negative role starring Nithin and Sadaf in the lead roles, directed by Teja.
With the success of “Jayam,” Gopichand started receiving good offers, but only negative roles. He was later seen in negative roles for the movies “Nijam” and “Varsham” starring Superstar Mahesh Babu and Rebel Star Prabhas in the lead roles respectively. After the success of these movies, he once again played the lead role in the movie “Yagnam” that released in the year 2004, which was a super hit and then the actor started working as lead actor from then.
