Series Verdict
Breathe: Into The Shadows season 1 has few flaws in making that made audience to lose interest in few of the episodes from the series. But season 2 has all the ingredients in the right place that made this season more interesting to watch. This season started from the point where season 1 was ended and a new character Victor has been added to this season, who creates more havoc and the questions keep raising in our minds about what is going to happen next. Though few episodes looks dragged, this season is a perfect continuation for the season 1 that will make us think of season 3 for sure.
While it comes to acting performances, Abhishek Bachchan as Avinash & J has a good scope to showcase his acting skills and he was able pull off these characters very well with ease. Amit Sadh is a very talented actor who is very under used in Hindi films, he was excellent in his role who is very responsible and strict. Nithya Menon has limited screen time in this season but managed to impress with her acting in those limited scenes. Naveen Kasturia is an interesting addition to this series and he gave a splendid performance. Saiyami Kher looks okay in limited scenes. All other actors did their part as required for the proceedings.
Technically Breathe: Into the Shadows looks good in this season. Background music composed by Alokananda Dasgupta & Karan Kulkarni is perfect for the genre of this series and the visuals provided by S Bharathwaaj brings up the dark mood required for the series. Editing for this season is good with very few unwanted scenes and drag throughout the episodes. Production values are high.
Director Mayank Sharma, who struggled with few episodes in the season 1, was successful in providing an interesting and thrilling series with this season. Though there are few uninteresting scenes in the series, he managed to pull of the series interestingly.
