Verdict

Netflix is trying harder to penetrate into Indian market by purchasing the digital streaming rights of movies from all languages in India and also joining hands with few well known production banners to produce original movies that will be available for streaming on Netflix only. Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is one such attempt to make Indian audience look at this OTT and it looks like it worked to some extent.

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga has an engaging screenplay, though the story of the movie is mostly revealed in the trailer itself. We can expect what happens in the end, but what makes this movie interesting is the narration in which we find many unexpected situations that will make us watch the movie till the end. This movie could have been a better watch on big screens, but the situations might have forced the makers to release it on OTT.

While it comes to acting performances, Yami Gautam once again appeared in a role that has some scope for performance and she did give her best for this role as always. Sunny Kaushal also impressed with his screen presence and performance. Sharad Kelkar has got a good role in the movie and he did what is required for the role. All other actors did their part well as required for the story.

Technically, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga looks okay. Background score composed by Ketan Sodha is good and looks apt for the scenes. Cinematography by Gianni Giannelli is top notch and looks exceptional in the scenes that were shot inside a plane set. Production values are good.

Director Ajay Singh was successful in delivering the movie with the story provided by three other writers. He was able to build the thrill required to watch the film till the end.

Overall, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is an interesting and intriguing crime thriller that can be streamed on Netflix for this weekend.
