Superstar Rajnikanth starrer “Coolie” created humongous expectations before release with a superhit music album and the revelation of cameos of some big stars from other languages. But it terribly failed to meet the expectations after the release.
This Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial film received criticism from the audience and the critics as well for its poor execution and missing logic. However, the movie collected more than expected and became a safe project with the OTT rights.
The OTT streaming rights for this movie are already acquired by the Amazon Prime Video OTT platform for a huge price, and it is now announced that the movie will be streaming on September 11, 2025, in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
With Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Satyaraj, Rachita Ram, and Kanna Ravi in the lead roles, this film also has cameos by Upendra and Aamir Khan.
Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this film was produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, Philomin Raj is the editor, and Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer.
