Actress Kajol, who has been appearing in very few selected movies in recent times, played the lead role in the horror film “Maa,” which was released in theaters at the end of June 2025.
This horror drama with the mix of mythological elements to the story received a decent response from the critics but couldn’t meet the expectations at the box office.
The Netflix OTT platform has acquired the OTT streaming rights for this movie and announced that it will be available for streaming on their platform from this Friday, August 22, 2025.
Alongside Kajol, this film also starred Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Kehrin Sharma, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjasikha Das, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and a few others.
Vishal Furia directed the film. Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, and Kumar Mangat Pathak are the producers. Pushkar Singh is the cinematographer and Sandeep Francis is the editor.
