In recent times a few Kannada films are getting wide recognition for their content irrespective of their budgets. One such movie that released in April and was made on a minimum budget was “Agnyathavasi.”
This is a crime thriller set in the late 90s period. This film received very good reviews from the critics despite its slow-paced narration. This film is now all set to have its digital premiere on the Zee5 OTT platform on May 28, 2025.
Rangayana Raghu, Paavana Gowda, Siddu Moolimani, Sharath Lohithaswa, Ravishankar Gowda, and a few other actors are part of this movie cast.
Janardhan Chikkanna directed this film under the banner of Dakshayani Talkies by Hemanth M. Rao, Prachura PP and Jayalakshmi. Charan Raj composed the music, Advaitha Gurumurthy handled the camera, and Bharath MC is the editor.
