It looks like the Zee5 OTT platform is planning to attract audiences from all the languages and is trying to collaborate with the makers from different regions in this process. They are also concentrating on the Kannada series these days.
Two Kannada series have already premiered on this platform and now they have announced another Kannada thriller series titled “Raakshasa,” which will premiere on the platform on February 20, 2026.
With Vijay Raghavendra in the lead role, Mayuri Kyatari, Appanna Ramadurga, Avinash Yelandur, MS Jahangir, Abhijith, Hulugappa Kattimani, Mahadev Hadapad, and Sushmitha Jagappa played other prominent roles.
Tharun Kishore Sudhir produced this series under the banner of Tharun Sudhir Kreatiivez. Suhan Prasad is the director, LV Muthu Ganesh is the music composer, Vivan Vidyut is the cinematographer, and A S Aravind & Bhuvanesh Manivannan are the editors.
