Kantara Telugu Movie Review

Story

Shiva and his mother live in a remote tribal village. The man or woman identified as Rishab Shetty. He has stopped leading the Daivaradhane and Bhoota Kola rituals because of a traumatic event from his youth. He doesn’t mind being homeless as long as he can hang out with his friends and make some cash doing odd things for his landlord (Achyut Kumar). Forest Officer Murali adds fresh dimensions to the age-old struggle between humanity and nature (Kishore). How confident are you that Shiva will be in stopping Murali’s destruction of the forest? Murali could attract larger fish and serve as bait.

Hombale Film’s editors include Rishab Shetty, Kishore, Achuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, Pramod Shetty, Vinay Biddappa, Aravind Kashyap, B Ajaneesh Loknath, Pratheek Shetty, and K. M. Prakash, while the film’s producer is Vijay Kiragandur.

Movie Verdict

After the success of KGF, Kannada filmmakers began concentrating on more personal stories like Kantara. The conflict between humans and the environment is central to the picture, and it’s an intriguing idea that director Rishab Shetty develops expertly.

The film’s opening exposition sets the stage emotionally, and later moments involving Shiva (Rishab Shetty) and the Kambla race are acted so convincingly that you feel like you’re a part of the action. Technical quality more than makes up for the story’s predictability and lack of novelty.

You will be completely engrossed in the film until the final 30 minutes, with the exception of a few repetitious moments in the second half. While the first hour and a half are full of funny scenes and amusing sequences, the second hour and a half delve deeper into the film’s actual narrative of culture and traditions intermingled with a mystery.

Rishab Shetty Kishore was fantastic as the harsh forest officer, and the rest of the ensemble was as impressive. Despite this, Shiva, whose believable character growth and natural acting style carried the film, remains its most memorable feature. Rishab Shetty’s goal of providing a story with a solid base is met thanks to his adept writing and direction.

When it comes to directing photography, Kantara is an expert. Skillfully utilizing setting, lighting, and framing, Aravind Kashyap takes us to Kantara. B The film’s technical features, like the BGM by Ajaneesh Loknath, are brilliantly accomplished, but the songs are forgettable.

Finally, I would like to say that the film Kantara is a masterpiece.
