It is sad that a few films’ concepts will become the strength for the success or it might turn into a drawback for the failure of that film. One such film released in Tamil recently was “Maayakoothu.”
The storytelling technique of this film was praised by a few critics; at the same time, it was misunderstood by the audience, causing the box office failure in Tamil.
The streaming rights for this interesting concept-oriented film are acquired by the Sun NXT OTT platform and the movie will be available for streaming on August 27, 2025.
Nagarajan Kannan, Mu Ramaswamy, Sai Dheena, K Gopal, Saranya Sivasankar, Delhi Ganesh, Agathiyan Aruppukottai, MS Hitlar, Sai Vicky, Rajsekar, A. Jaga, Saroja Prakash, Aishwarya Ragupathi, Dev Akshaj GK, Karthik Seenivasan, and a few others are part of the movie cast.
A.R. Raghavendra is the writer and director of the film. Rahul Deva & Prasad Ramachandran are the producers. Sundar Ram Krishnan is the cameraman, Nagooran Ramachandran is the editor, and Anjana Rajagopalan composed the music.
