Pitchers Season 2 Review: The Viral Fever, is the production company that keeps delivering some of the most loved and most viewed series every year. Few series produced by The Viral Fever motivated many youngsters to choose their paths gaining some courage in their lives. One such series is ‘Pitchers’. Season 1 of this series was an inspiration to many youngsters in the country. Now makers have recently announced the season 2 of this series and it is now available for streaming on Zee5 OTT platform from today. Let us get into the detailed review of this season 2 to know if makers have are able to create the same magic just like the season 1.
Story
The first season of Pitchers focuses on four major characters named Naveen Bansal, Jitendra Maheshwari, Saurabh Mandal, and Yogendra Pandey, all of whom are dissatisfied with their monotonous employment because they pay very little despite the fact that they work very hard. They make the conscious decision to launch their own business and get to work pursuing their passion. Even if their plan is accepted, they cannot find enough investors to fund it. The second season will focus on the characters’ lives after they have launched their startup and it has grown larger.

Series Verdict
TVF only takes up the projects that really go viral among the youngsters. Pitchers season 1 showed the struggles faced by the youngsters in setting up their own startup companies, the hurdles they have to face across the journey, people they had stumble upon for the investments that are very relatable to every entrepreneur who struggled to startup their own company. Even the four main characters in this series so natural that every friend group can relate to them with some their characters being the same.
Season 2 starts with Naveen and friends starting with a new company named ‘Pragathi’ and then stumble to settle down after few deals that leads them almost to shutdown. The efforts that Naveen, Saurabh Mandal, Yogendra Pandey make to meet the target and keep their company back in track is what makes this series more interesting. Many people are confused about featuring of Jithu character in this season and we do not want to spoil your excitement by revealing anything about, you need to watch all the episodes if this most loved character is back in season 2.
While it comes to acting performances, Naveen Kasturia who played the main role gave very natural performance just like his performance from the season 1. Abhay Mahajan, who entertained with his comedy timing and one lines in the season 1 once again entertained with his unique timing. Arunabh Kumar who created this series also played important role as Yogendra Pandey who triggers easily if the situations turn worse and he did his character with more conviction. Abhishek Banerjee is seen in cameo role just like season 1 and he did well in those few scenes appeared. All other actors did their part well as required for the series.
Technically Pitchers season 2 looks good. Music composed by Vaibhav Bundhoo looks apt for the proceedings. Cinematography for this season is also handled by Vaibhav Bundhoo, as this series is a simple comedy drama there are no such specialties in the visuals, but cinematography looks fine with the limited locations to shoot. Runtime of each episode is crisp which is one more positive season, that is possible of very well handled editing. Dialogues are very well written in few episodes. Production values are as needed for the plot of this season.
Directors Vaibhav Bundhoo, Arunabh Kumar once again succeeded in providing another quality series that could connect with the audience and relate to the characters on screen with them. They should be appreciated for their quality writing without much vulgarity and profanity used in the series.
Overall, Pitchers season 2 is another interesting and lovable series from TVF that also keeps us motivating us with some though provoking scenes and dialogues. Stream this interesting series on Zee5 OTT platform without any second thought.
