Rakshit Shetty was born in Udupi, Karnataka, on June 6, 1983, to a Bunt family who spoke Tulu. Rakshit Shetty is currently 39 years old. His primary education was in Udupi, and in 2005 he earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the NMAM Institute of Technology in Nitte. For over two years, he worked at Symphony in Bangalore. He left his position, though, to pursue a career in film. He made his big-screen debut in the 2010 Kannada film Nam Areal Ond Dina, but it didn’t bring him any fame or success.

Tuglak (2012), his second film, also features Meghana Gaonkar in a prominent role. The box office performance of this film was likewise awful. He sobbed in the theatre itself after seeing this response.
He later achieved success with the 2013 romantic comedy Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, which served as a springboard for him before directing and starring in the 2014 crime drama Ulidavaru Kandanthe. The movie received a lot of positive reviews and earned him the South Filmfare Award for Best Director as well as the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Director’s First Time.
