M. Dhinakaran is known for writing thrillers in the Tamil film industry and he has now stepped into the OTT platform as a writer and director for a series titled “Regai.” This is a 7-episode crime thriller series.
The trailer for this new series was dropped on YouTube without any prior information and the makers also confirmed that it will be available for streaming on November 28, 2025. The OTT streaming rights are bagged by the Zee5 OTT platform.
Sub Inspector Vetri investigates a case that leads to a deadly crime in this series. Bala Hasan, Pavithra Janani, and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan will be seen in the lead roles, with a few other actors in other prominent roles.
Created, written, and directed by M. Dhinakaran, this series is produced by S. Singaravelan under the banner of SS Group. Dorai is the editor, RS Rajpratap is the music composer, and Mahendra M. Hendry is the cinematographer.
