Sai Pallavi Wiki and Biography: Indian actress and dancer Sai Pallavi Senthamarai (born May 9, 1992) works primarily in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. She has won various accolades for her work in film, including two Filmfare Awards for her roles in Premam (2015) and Fidaa (2017). Having earned her MBBS in 2016, Pallavi is a qualified medical doctor.
Her breakthrough came with her portrayal of Malar in the 2015 Malayalam film Premam. Then she had a role in Kali (2016). Sai Pallavi attended Avila Convent School in Coimbatore. She has yet to get officially registered as a doctor in India, despite having graduated in 2016 from a medical school approved by India’s Medical Council, where she was also On August 31, 2020, she went to Trichy to take the FMGE, or Foreign Medical Graduate Examination.

Sai Pallavi, the daughter of Badaga immigrants Senthamarai Kannan and Radha, was born on May 9, 1992, in Kotagiri, Nilgiris district, Tamil Nadu. She is the older sister of the actress Pooja. Pallavi is a native of Coimbatore.

Even though Pallavi never had formal dance training, she knew from a young age that she wanted to work in a field that entailed moving her body. She was a prominent dancer at school, having taken part in several cultural events. Her mother encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming a dancer, and in 2008 she appeared on the dance reality show Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva on Vijay TV. The following year, she competed in and made it to the finals of ETV’s Dhee Ultimate Dance Show (D4).
As a child, Pallavi made cameos in the films Kasthuri Maan (2005) and Dhaam Dhoom (2001) without receiving any credit for her work (2008).
While she was a student in Tbilisi, Georgia in 2014, film director Alphonse Puthren approached her about playing Malar in his next film Premam. She filmed the movie on her break from school and went back to class thereafter. Since playing the character of “Malar Teacher,” she has become an overnight sensation. She was nominated for and won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, among other “Best Female Debut” honours that year.
The film Kali, in which she had a supporting role, was released in March 2016, therefore she took a month off from school in the fall of 2015. She was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam for her portrayal of Anjali, a young wife who must cope with her husband’s extreme anger issues. As Bhanumathi, a feisty Telangana village girl, she made her acting debut in Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa, a Telugu film, in 2017. Film Companion named her turn in the movie one of the “100 Greatest Performances of the Decade.”
