Few good films perform better in original language and may not resonate with the audience from other regions. “Soorarai Pottru,” one such Tamil film, even though released on the OTT platform directly, made the audience go crazy in Tamil and Telugu.
It was remade in Hindi titled “Sarfira” with Akshay Kumar in the lead role and received disaster response in theatres, even though the performance of Akshay Kumar was appreciated in the film.
This film will now be available for streaming on the Disney+ Hotstar platform on October 11, 2024.
Alongside Akshay Kumar, this film also starred Paresh Rawal, Radhikka Madan, Seema Biswas, R. Sarath Kumar, Saurabh Goyal, and a few others.
Sudha Kongara directed this remake, which was produced by Aruna Bhatia, Jyotika, Suriya, and Vikram Malhotra. G.V. Prakash Kumar, Tanishk Bagchi, and Suhit Abhyankar composed the music. Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer.
