Sasikumar Biography
Sasikumar Education
St. Peter’s Kodaikanal School prepared Sasikumar for his studies in commercial enterprise management at vellaichamy nadar University in Madurai. It was his uncle Kandasaamy, who produced the film sethu 1999, who got him his start in the film industry when he was 20 years old.
Sasikumar Early Life
Sasikumar was an assistant director in the film, and it was there that he met ameer, another attendee who stuck around for a while and eventually became famous. Mounam Pesiyadhe 2002 and Ramadan 2005 were both years he spent with filmmaker Ameer.
Sasikumar Career
During the early stages of ameer paruthiveeran 2007 he began his foundation for subramaniapuram and stopped production to focus on his film. Subramaniapuram, shot in only 85 days, won critical acclaim and transformed the film industry into a rougher marketplace. Sasikumar followed up the success of subramaniapuram with the productions of Pasanga (2009), directed by pandiraj in his directorial debut, and Easan (2010), which he directed himself. Poraali (2011) and Sundarapandian (2012) are two of his most recent productions.
In April 2014, the President of India, Shri. Pranab Muharjee, awarded him the country’s top filmmaking prize for his work on the production film thalaimuraigal, in which he co-starred with sasikumar for the first time.
