Sidharth Malhotra Upcoming Movies: Sidharth Malhotra, who has been working in the Hindi film industry restlessly to prove himself as an actor has finally got a blockbuster with the film ‘Shershaah’ which was released in 2021. His earlier films Jabriya Jodi, and Marjaavaan went unnoticed and commercially failed to the core. Now the actor is coming up with a comedy entertainer ‘Thank God’ alongside Ajay Devgn.
When Sidharth Malhotra was 18, he began his career as a model; the acting was never his first inclination. A successful modeling career led to his decision to try acting, and he soon co-starred with Rajat Tokas in the popular TV show Prithviraj Chauhan. The actor signed on as an assistant director when his contract with Anubhav Sinha’s project was canceled midway through production. The contract he had with Gladrags prevented him from working with Priyanka Chopra in the film Fashion (2008).
When Sidharth got a job as an associate director on Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan in 2010, it paved the way for him to be cast in Student of the Year. His portrayal of Abhimanyu Singh won over audiences and earned him multiple accolades. Sidharth’s 2014 appearance in Hasee Toh Phasee, directed by Vinil Mathew and also starring Parineeti Chopra, after a successful cinematic debut. The critics praised his portrayal of an aspiring businessman in the film. His performance as a hardened criminal in Mohit Suri’s romantic-thriller Ek Villain, alongside Shraddha Kapoor, was also released that year.

Sidharth Malhotra is ready to entertain the audience with his upcoming flick ‘Thank God’ that will be released for Diwali this year. He has other interesting projects like Yodha, which is an action thriller that will be released by the end of 2022, and Mission Majnu an action drama film that will release in mid-2023. On the flip side, the actor is also working with Rohit Shetty for a series titled ‘Indian Police Force’ that will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video in 2023.
