He started his education at St. Anthony’s High School in Mumbai and finished it at R. D. National College of Arts & Science. He had an early interest in performing and would put on school skits featuring dancing and acting. His tutors instilled in him a strong desire to pursue acting, seeing in him a natural ability for the craft. Vikrant began his career with Shiamak Davar as a college-aged choreographer.

Jolly Massey and Aamna Massey welcomed him into the world. He is the younger brother of Mohsin Massey. Vikrant got his first acting role when he was 17 years old. During one Diwali dinner at ‘Out of the Blue’ in Pali Hill, Mumbai, a representative from the Star network observed Vikrant and offered him a prime-time TV show.

As his career began, Vikrant Massey studied ballet with Shiamak Davar. The Disney Channel original musical comedy-drama “Dhoom Machaao Dhoom” featured him in the role of choreographer. Following that, he starred as Rajkumar Dharam in the TV series “Dharam Veer.”

Vikrant came into the spotlight by portraying the part of ‘Shyam Madan Singh’ in Colors TV’s renowned serial Balika Vadhu. Afterward, he started making appearances on shows including “Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo,” “Qubool Hai,” and “Ajab Gajab Ghar Jamai.”

In 2013, after spending the previous five years working in television, Vikrant made his film debut in the leading role of ‘Devdas Mukherjee’ in the Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha film “Lootera.” He has since played a wide variety of offbeat characters, such as the introverted Shutu in “A Death in the Gunj,” the macho Arshad in “Lipstick Under My Burkha,” and the slick Rana in “Dil Dhadakne Do.”

He played the role of ‘Shrey’ on the web series Rise in 2017. Thereafter, he was featured in a wide variety of web series, including “Mirzapur,” “Broken But Beautiful,” “Made in Heaven,” and “Criminal Justice.”

Along with “Un Hazaaron Ke Naam,” “Best Girlfriend,” “35MM,” and “Detour,” he has appeared in a number of other short films.
