Happy Janmashtami 2022 Wishes, Quotes, Images, Greetings, Status, Poems etc

It is the eighth day of the dark fortnight in the Hindu calendar month of Bhadrapada, and people all over the world celebrate the birth of the god Krishna on this day, known as Janmashtami. Krishna is the eighth child of Devaki, hence the number eight has additional significance in the mythology of Krishna.

Lord Krishna is portrayed as the tender-hearted, loving divinity of Hindu mythology. In addition to his supernatural abilities, he is famous for his pranks and antics. Brother of Queen Devaki, Kansa, supposedly believed a prophecy that Lord Krishna was born to kill him.

As a result, Kansa attempted to kill Krishna, but Krishna was quickly released from the dank prison. Krishna was safely delivered to the kingdom of Gokul by King Vasudeva, who ferried him across the Yamuna River in a basket on his head.

To celebrate at home, loved ones are invited to join in on the fun. Inhabitants adorn their dwellings with various ornaments. The "Hare Krishna" mantra is chanted repeatedly. A few even read about Krishna's arrival and the many thrilling events that transpired during his lifetime. Devotees decorate the altar and purchase new garb for the Radha-Krishna deity.

Krishna, the divine teacher of the universe, is always here with you -- to guide you to lead your life with clarity, joy, confidence, and hope. Let the day of Krishnashtami ignite benevolent spirits in you and dispel the darkness of ignorance. May you be blessed with divine protection.

"It is better to perform one’s own duties imperfectly than to master the duties of another. By fulfilling the obligations one is born with, a person never comes to grief" "The mind is restless and difficult to restrain, but it is subdued by practice"

“The truth is, Krishna was born much ahead of his time. All great persons are born ahead of their time, and all insignificant people are born after their time. It is only mediocre people who are born in their time.” "A gift is pure when given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return" Jai Shree Krishna!
