The JioHotstar OTT platform has been focusing more on remakes of movies and series on their platform to other regional languages. They have now announced another remake, “Ziddi Ishq,” which is a remake of Bengali film “Parineeta.”
The original was released in the Bengali language in the year 2019 and the Hindi makers released the teaser for the remake of this film on YouTube recently and confirmed that it will be available for streaming directly on the JioHotstar platform on November 21, 2025.
This remake will star Parambrata Chatterjee and Aaditi Pohankar in the lead roles, with Priyanshu Painyuli, Shaji Choudhary, Barkha Bisht, and Bibriti Chatterjee in other prominent roles.
Raj Chakraborty, who directed the original in Bengali, is the director of this remake. The details about the crew that worked on this remake are yet to be announced.
