Kannada filmmakers are slowly and steadily getting into the business of OTT web series. After the success of ‘Ayyana Mane’ and ‘Shodha,’ a new series titled “Maarigallu” is all set to entertain the Kannada audience this month.
The teaser for this series received a tremendous response, as late actor Puneeth Rajkumar was created using AI for this show. This series is also produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar.
The Zee5 OTT platform, which is concentrating on the Kannada market, has come up with this new show. This series will be available for streaming on this platform on October 31, 2025.
Praveen Tej, Rangayana Raghu, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Ninad, Prashanth Siddi, A. Suraj, Nidhi Hegde, Raghavi, Mime Ramdas, Parashuram, Raghu Pandeshwar, Deepa Hegde, and a few others are part of the cast.
Written and directed by Devraj Poojary, this series is produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar under the PRK Productions banner. LV Muthu Ganesh composed the music, Suresh Mallayya and Kevin S.M. are the editors, and S.K. Rao handled the camera.
