It looks like the OTT platforms are trying to cash in on the holiday season in December by targeting the families with content relatable for them. A new movie titled “The Great Shamsuddin Family” is now all set to have its digital premiere this month.
The trailer for this new film was dropped on YouTube today, and it looks like a fun-filled family entertainer already. The JioHotstar OTT platform has acquired the streaming rights for this film and will stream it on their platform on December 12, 2025.
This film cast includes Kritika Kamra, Purab Kohli, Farida Jalal, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Juhi Babbar, Sheeba Chaddha, Dolly Ahluwalia, Natasha Rastogi, and Nishank Verma.
Written and directed by Anusha Rizvi, this film is produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, and Mahmood Farooqui. Simran Hora composed the music, Konark Saxena is the editor, and Debashish Remi Dalai is the cinematographer.
