Indian film actor, screenwriter, and director Adivi Sesh is most well-known for his work in the Telugu cinema industry. On December 17th, 1984, he was born to Sunshi Chandra Adivi (a doctor) and Bhavani in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. His younger sister’s name is Shirley, and she is his only sibling (doctor). Sesh attended Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California, and San Francisco State University for his undergraduate education.
Sesh made his acting debut in the 2002 film “Sontham,” although in a minor supporting role. Next, in 2010, he directed and wrote his first feature film, “Karma. Since then, he’s appeared in a wide range of films, including Panjaa, Balupu, Kiss, Run Raja Run, Bahubali: The Beginning, Size Zero, Kshanam, Goodachari, Oh! Baby, and Evaru.

Sesh made his acting debut in a supporting role in the film Sontham (2002). In 2010, he made his directorial and scriptwriting debut with the film Karma, which starred Jade Tailor and Sher Ali. ” Panjaa, starring Pawan Kalyan, Sarah Jane Dias, Anjali Lavania, and Jackie Shroff, was directed by Vishnuvardhan and released in 2011. Sesh had a little role in the film. Sesh played the role of Munna, a wealthy pampered brat and a very dangerous individual who is an NRI in this film. The introduction of the villain also served as his first major role. The reviews for his performance were very positive. The website Rediff commented, “Sesh Adivi is worth watching for his’maniacal’ portrayal which is just the contrary of what he did in Karma, his directorial and acting debut.”
CineGoer.com echoed these sentiments, praising his work and calling him “quite a discovery.” After that, he played the antagonist in a film titled Balupu. The only other flop of his career up to that point was a film he directed, Kiss. After appearing in a supporting part in Run Raja Run, he took the lead in the 2015 films Ladies & Gentlemen and Dongaata and subsequently in S.S. Rajamouli’s epic movie Baahubali: The Beginning. Kshanam, a film he starred in alongside filmmaker Ravikanth Perepu in 2016, was based on a story and screenplay he co-wrote. Sesh became well-known after the success of this movie. More than 50 scripts offered to him the lead role after Kshanam, all of which he turned down. Subsequently, he made cameo appearances in Size Zero and Oopiri. He has a role in Mohanakrishna Indraganti’s comedic film Ami Thumi.
Goodachari, an action thriller he directed, opened on August 3, 2018 to rave reviews and closed on September 6, 2018 (33 days later) at the box office. Both he and Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film’s director, wrote the script. Up next, he made a guest cameo in Oh! Baby, starring Samantha Akkineni. Venkat Ramji’s next film, the suspense thriller Evaru, premiered on 15 August 2019 to generally positive reviews and went on to become a box office success, staying in theatres for more than 4 weeks. Major, a biopic about the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is his next film. Sesh announced in April of 2020 that he would be penning the script for Goodachari 2, the sequel to his spy thriller film from 2018. Sesh has also agreed to appear in the upcoming sequel to the film HIT: The First Case, titled HIT 2: The Second Case (2022).
