Animation films in India have very little reach when compared to live-action films and producers also step back if anyone comes with such ideas. But the Hombale Films banner has announced multiple animation films and released “Mahavatar Narsimha” as their first film from the franchise.
This film was made on a limited budget and had a limited release but shattered all the records after the release with a tremendous response from the audience across the languages. It depicted the story of Lord Narasimha and Hiranyakashipa.
After its profitable run in the theaters, it is now available for streaming on the Netflix OTT platform in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, starting today on September 19, 2025.
Ashwin Kumar directed this film, which was produced by Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai and presented by Hombale Films. Sam CS composed the music, and Ajay Verma and Ashwin Kumar are the editors.
