Fight Club movie digital rights were acquired by Hotstar and the movie will hit the OTT space on 27 January 2024. Lokesh Kanagaraj has announced long ago that he will be venturing into film production to help his assistant make their movie debuts in Tamil so that they can explore more interesting scripts and make different movies in Tamil, but Lokesh hasn’t officially announced any movie after this statement. He has now all of a sudden taken to his social media accounts and announced that “Fight Club” will be his first production venture in Tamil. He also mentioned that he always wanted to work with Vijay Kumar since 2017, but it didn’t happen for many reasons and now he is happy to produce his first film with Vijay Kumar in the lead role.

The shooting of the “Fight Club” movie officially started somewhere in 2021, but it was initially announced under a different banner with the name “Reel Good Films.” It seems like the regular shooting of this movie was halted multiple times due to many reasons during the production and has now finally got a theatrical release date with the support of Lokesh Kanagaraj.
