Actor Mithun Chakraborty is a well-known actor across the languages in India. He is now playing character roles in different languages in recent times. He appeared in a lead role in the film “Kabuliwala,” which was released in December 2023.
It was released simultaneously with “Dunki,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, and “Salaar,” starring Prabhas in the lead roles, but managed to pull the Bengali audience to the theaters. The OTT streaming rights for this film are finally acquired by the Hoichoi platform, and the movie is all set to stream on May 16, 2025.
This film was made based on a book written by Rabindranath Tagore. Alongside Mithun Chakraborty, it also starred Anumegha Kahali, Abir Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar, and a few others.
Suman Ghosh directed this film, which was produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni. Indraadip Dasgupta composed the music, Sujay Datta Ray is the editor, and Subhankar Bhar is the cinematographer.
