G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment is a production company that Mahesh Babu owns as well. Babu, the younger son of seasoned Telugu actor Krishna, started acting at the tender age of four and went on to star in eight more films throughout his early years in the industry. Rajakumarudu (1999) was his first leading role, and it earned him the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut.
Sarileru Neekevvaru earned over 2.6 billion at the box office, making it his highest-grossing picture ever. Prior to that, Pokiri was the highest-grossing Telugu film. Media outlets have dubbed him “the Prince of Tollywood,” while his legion of devoted admirers calls him “the superstar of Telugu film.”
He’s not just an actor; he’s also the head of a charitable trust and non-profit called Heal-a-Child. Also, he is a goodwill ambassador for Rainbow Hospitals. Together with Narayandas Narang of the Asian Group, he dove headfirst into the movie theatre sector with the opening of the Gachibowli AMB Cinemas, a seven-screen megaplex.
