Neena Gupta Biography

Neena Gupta Education

She attended Solan (Himalayan State of) India’s The Lawrence School, Sanawar. As time went on, she returned to Delhi to earn her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Sanskrit.

Neena Gupta Early Life

On June 4, 1959, Neena Gupta was born in Delhi. The Gupta family, of which Neena is a part, is Hindu. It was the late R. N. Gupta who was her father. Cancer ultimately took the life of her mother, Shakuntala Gupta. Her sibling is a man named Pankaj Gupta.

As a young girl of 16, she tied the knot with a Calcutta boy whose education included time at IIT Delhi. Sadly, their union was short-lived, lasting only two years. She first met veteran actor Alok Nath in the 1980s, on the set of a television serial. Reports suggested they were engaged at one point but later broke up.

She began dating West Indies cricket great Vivian Richards in the late 1980s. Almost 13 years passed during which the pair dated seriously. She and he are married, and they have a daughter born in 1989. Masaba Gupta, a well-known Indian designer, is the daughter of Neena and Vivian. Neena and Vivian Richards remain close friends despite the fact that they never tied the knot.
