Perilloor Premier League digital rights were bagged by Disney+ Hotstar and the series will hit the OTT space on 05 January 2024. Actress Nikhila Vimal is playing the lead role in this series. Nikhila Vimal started her career as a child artist with the movie “Bhagyadevatha,” which was released in 2009 and made her debut as a lead actress with “Love 24×7,” starring Dileep, which was released in 2015. She later made her debut as a lead actress in Tamil with the movie “Vetrivel,” starring Sasikumar in the lead role and then made her debut in Telugu with the movie “Meda Meedha Abbayi,” starring ‘Allari’ Naresh. She later appeared in a number of Tamil and Malayalam movies and recently appeared in the Tamil series “Mathagam” in a limited role. “Perilloor Premier League” is her first Malayalam series and this is the third series from Malayalam overall.

As mentioned earlier, the regular shoot of this series began back in February 2023, and the shoot was wrapped up in June. The post-production of this series took longer than expected, so the makers took their time to announce the details about this new series.
