With the huge success of “Romancham,” Malayalam filmmakers started cooking more such stories that have a blend of horror and comedy elements in them. One such horror comedy film released in Malayalam was “Sumathi Valavu.”
This film also fared decently well at the Kerala box office and the OTT streaming rights for this horror comedy film were acquired by the Zee5 OTT platform. It revolves around a haunted place, which is guarded by the ghost of a Tamil woman.
It will be available for streaming on the OTT platform on September 26, 2025, and will stream in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi audios.
The star cast of the film includes Arjun Ashokan, Malavika Manoj, Sidharth Bharathan, Gokul Suresh, Balu Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Sshivada, Devanandha, Sreepath Yan, Joohi Jayakumar, Jasnya K Jayadeesh, Gopika Anil, and Shravan Mukesh.
Gokulam Gopalan and Murali Kunnumpurath produced this film, which was directed by Vishnu Sasi Shankar. Shankar P.V. handled the camera and Shafique Muhamed Ali is the editor.
