Vijay Rajendran is a happy-go-lucky man who comes from a family that lives together. He has two older brothers, and he is the youngest of the family. When his father, a successful businessman, passed away suddenly, things began to shift, and conflicts between his brothers increases as a result of the financial crisis.
On the other side, there are attempts to take control of the business currently run by his father. The rest of the story focuses on how Vijay Rajendran was able to overcome all of these challenges and keep his family together despite the difficulties they faced.
Varisu stars Vijay in the lead role, while Rashmika Mandanna is seen as his love interest. Other casts of the movie includes Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Khushbu, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish & others.
This movie is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by 'Dil' Raju & Shirish on Sri Venkateswara creations. Music of this movie is composed the Thaman S, cinematography is handled by Karthik Palani. Editing of this movie is taken care by Praveen KL.
Vijay is good to some extent and his mannerisms will entertain his fans. But he failed to impress completely in emotional scenes. Rashmika Mandanna has nothing much to do in the movie and in very few scenes she appeared, she went over the top with unwanted expressions.
Technically Varisu movie looks okay. Songs composed by Thaman are the biggest relief in the movie and his background music will surely make Vijay fans go crazy in the theatres.
Director Vamshi Paidipally has delivered an outdated movie once again with few scenes that entertains Vijay fans in theatres. His making doesn't impress in any way, as the plot he choose is very routine.
Overall, Varisu is an outdated commercial and family entertainer. This might entertain Tamil audience to some extent, but might disappoint Telugu audience.
