In the Telugu film industry we have seen very few love-theme-based films in recent times. A new film titled “Patang” was released in December 2025 and went unnoticed due to multiple film releases on the same day despite its good content.
With all debutants in the leading roles, this film received good reviews from the critics but failed to bring the audience to the theaters. The OTT streaming rights for this film are already acquired by the Sun Nxt OTT platform.
As per the latest announcement, this film is all set to premiere on January 30, 2026. It stars Pranav Kaushik, Preethi Pagadala, and Vamsi Pujit in the lead roles. SP Charan, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Anu Hasan and a few others played other prominent roles.
Praneeth Prattipati is the writer and director of this film, which was produced by Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, and Suresh Reddy Kothinti. Jose Jimmy is the music composer, Shakthi Arvind is the cinematographer, and Chanakya Reddy Toorupu is the editor.
