In 2010, he made his directorial and writing debut with the bilingual film Karma, in which he played the lead role alongside Jade Tailor and Sher Ali. His performance in Vishnuvardhan’s Panjaa, which starred Pawan Kalyan, was highly praised by the critics later in the same year. Adivi Sesh’s performance as a spoiled brat in Panjaa earned him a role in Gopichand Malineni’s Balupu, a film starring Ravi Teja.
