Akash was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, India on April 12. He was born into a family of filmmakers and is now 24 years old and doing well. His father, Mr. Puri Jagannadh, has given him every opportunity to succeed as an actor in South Indian cinema.

Akash, directed by his father in the film ‘Chirutha’ in 2007, marked his Tollywood acting debut as a young actor. His acting career continued with roles in films like Gabbar Singh, Bujjigadu, Businessman, Dhoni, and Andhra Pori. With the release of 2018’s ‘Mehbooba,’ he established himself as a leading performer.

Akash, the Son of film producer and director Puri Jagannadh, made his acting debut in the 2008 film Bujjigadu. His 2011 film The Lotus Pond featured him in a child actor role. Several films featured him as a young actor, and in 2012, he appeared in Businessman and Dhoni. He subsequently appeared in the 2015 film Andhra Pori.
During his career as a kid actor, he has appeared alongside industry heavyweights like Prabhas. Once a child performer, he makes his big screen debut in the 2018 film Mehbooba. His father directed a successful film.
The 2021 film Romantic, starring Akash in the title role opposite Ketika Sharma’s Monica, will begin filming soon. His dad is the movie’s producer.
