Asif Ali Biography
Asif Ali Education
From Marian College in Kuttikkanam, he received a degree in business administration. Ali worked as a video jockey and a model for advertising when she was in school.
Asif Ali Early Life
His second release was the critically acclaimed Malayalam drama Kadha Thudarunnu (2010), which starred Jayaram and Matta Mohandas and was written and directed by Sathyan Anthikad. A Malayalam thriller called Apoorvaragam was also launched in 2010. Despite its poor box office performance, Asif received Best Villain at the Asianet Film Awards. The Bollywood comedy film All the Best: Fun Begins was remade into the Malayalam film Best of Luck the same year, however unlike the original, it was universally panned by critics. He co-starred with three other protagonists in the Malayalam thriller Traffic, which was released in 2011, and it was a commercial success. Due to the films’ commercial success, it was remade in 2013 as Chennaiyil Oru Naal and in 2016 as Traffic in Hindi. In the same year, he also had the commercially successful romantic comedy Salt N’ Pepper, which told the love tale of two couples. Ithu Nammude Katha, his 2011 film, earned lukewarm reviews from critics but bombed at the box office.
Asif made 13 film appearances in 2012. While Asuravithu, which was released earlier this year and received poor reviews at the box office, was nominated for Best Actor in a Negative Role at the 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards for his portrayal of Aloshy in Unnam. Following this, however, Asif had a poor year at the box office as a number of his films received mediocre to bad reviews, with only Husbands of Goa, directed by Saju Surendran, succeeding commercially.
Asif Ali Career
He was chosen by Shyamaprasad to portray one of the lead characters in his movie Ritu, and both the general public and reviewers gave him favourable reviews. He was subsequently invited by Sathyan Anthikkad to take on a significant part in his movie Kadha Thudarunnu. Sibi Malayil, who also directed his third movie, called it Apoorvaragam.
He has since appeared in the films Traffic and Best of Luck. The second movie he made was Ithu Nammude Katha, which Rajesh Kannankara both wrote and directed. In Aashiq Abu’s second film, Salt N’Pepper, which came out in 2011, Ali signed on to play Manu Raghav, a carefree young man who frequently finds himself in risky situations by being too kind.
His most popular iterations in 2018 are B Tech, Iblis, and Mandharam. B Tech was a financial success and ran in Kerala for 100 days.
