Athipookal Story

Padma (Devadarshini), Manokar (Chetan/Sathish), and Karpagam (Rajesh) are the protagonists of the show (Sandhya). Despite their happiness as a pair, Manohar and Padma have been unable to start a family despite being married for a long time. Anjali (Rani), Padma’s sister-in-law, is envious of Padma’s success and sneaks drugs into her food in order to render her sterile. Surrogate mother Karpagam carries Manokar’s child. The boy infant is called Shiva. While Padma is unaware of Karpagam’s role as surrogate mother, Anjali is aware of it. When Manokar and Karpagam are wrongly accused of having an unlawful connection, and Padma believes her sister-in-law and becomes angry, the situation quickly becomes tense. In fact, Padma was willing to divorce Manohar. Anjali uses this knowledge to her advantage by plotting evil with the help of her servant Maha in order to permanently separate the pair. Anjali and her gangs, Saroja and Paanchali, go to great lengths to abduct Siva.

Padma eventually found out about Anjali’s terrible actions, such as poisoning her and snatching her child. Padma is aware of this, so she confronts Anjali’s accomplice, Maha, about their criminal deeds. After reflecting on her actions, Maha apologises to Padma for everything she did wrong. Anjali, however, overheard Padma’s talk with Maha and decides to take out Maha for the betrayal she’s committed. Life improves for Padma and Manohar after they are reunited. Karpagam is happy since she finally got the touching moment she had been hoping for. Yet Anjali returns to fire on Padma and Manohar, and it is Karpagam who is hit. She eventually gets well enough to go back to Badrinath. For the murders of Paanchali and Maha and the kidnapping of Siva, Anjali receives a lengthy prison sentence.
