Butterfly Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

Butterfly Telugu Movie Review: Starring in “A Aa,” Anupama Parameswaran made her debut in the Telugu film industry and quickly became a teen star. However, she ran into some difficulties as a writer. She and Nikhil’s most recent film together, “Karthikeya 2,” was a box office smash, and they’ve since worked together on the highly acclaimed film “18 Pages,” which is still playing in theatres. The latest film “Butterfly” by Anupama Parameswaran can be viewed on the streaming service Hotstar.

She was left in charge of her sister’s kids when her sister went away for a few days. Due to the abduction of her sister’s children, Geetha takes an interest in the case. As she investigates further, she learns horrifying details about her neighbours. Between these two points, a mission codenamed “Butterfly” will launch. Movie Verdict

Many later horror movies owe a debt to Gen’nexT Movies, the studio responsible for the groundbreaking film “Mantra,” which starred Charmi Kaur and received widespread recognition. We know that when one of these studios publishes a film, it will have an intriguing idea and an original style of production.

The story in “Butterfly” is devoid of suspense and centres on a single, simplistic concept that is handled in a boring fashion. The film’s length is fine for its genre, but neither the script nor the direction managed to interest viewers. Some shocking events are to be expected in a thriller, and they serve to divert attention away from the film’s flaws, which is why they are so important. But “Butterfly” can’t keep the audience engaged because it doesn’t have any surprising developments. With its downbeat last act, the film quickly becomes tedious to watch.

Acting-wise, Anupama Parameswaran’s Geetha is convincing, however she faltered in a few intense moments. But she should be commended for trying to make the movie work solely on the strength of her performance. Beginning his career at a young age, Nihal Kodhaty had a pivotal role in this film and gave a brilliant performance. Bhumika Chawla gave a terrific performance, despite her relatively small part. Rao Ramesh is comfortable in this role because he has played similar roles before. Everyone else who appeared on stage did a great job with their lines.

The technical aspects of Butterfly seem to be adequate. While Arviz & Gideon Katta’s score is a nice touch and adds some mystery to the moments, Sameer Reddy’s cinematography doesn’t live up to his goals. Although his talent as a cinematographer was previously demonstrated in feature films, the images in this film are more analogous to those found in short films. The production values and editing are both satisfactory.

This is Ghanta Satish Babu’s first full-length feature film after he worked as an assistant director on a few previous films. That he lacked the experience to make the scenes more interesting is clear throughout the entire film. More effort could have been put into making interesting and exciting things happen that would have kept the audience interested.

Although there are some intriguing parts, Butterfly is largely a dull suspense film. This thriller film is currently available on Hotstar for subscribers.
