Rao Ramesh Career

The South Indian director Ghantasala Ratna Kumar had planned for him to make his debut in a television series back in 2001 or 2002, but the show was ultimately scrapped. After that, he made a few guest appearances on popular Telugu TV shows like “Pavithra Bandham” and “Kalavari Kodalu.” When he first entered the spotlight, it was as Hema’s brother in the 2002 Telugu film Seema Simham.

Prior to entering the industry, he worked as an assistant for cinematographer K. S. Prakasa Rao, the brother of K. Raghavendra Rao. After that, he relocated to Chennai, where he appeared in nearly a thousand episodes of television shows over the course of four and a half years, including hits like Pavitra Bandham and Kalavari Kodalu. Okkadunnadu, a film in which he made a cameo appearance in 2007, was released that year. His breakthrough performance came in Krish’s 2008 film Gamyam, in which he played a reformed Naxalite and was widely praised for his work. He then went on to star in films like S. S. Rajamoul’s Magadheera and others like Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008) and Avakai Biryani (2008). There was a time in the early 2010s when he was in high demand as a supporting actor.
