#1 C U Soon
CU Soon, a 90-minute thriller wrapped up in 18 days, shot with multiple digital tools, with a 67-pages of screenplay released during the Onam 202o. Fahadh teamed up with Darshana for this amid pandemic release, C U Soon. Touted to be a Work From Home film, C U Soon is the first screen-based feature Malayalam film shot exclusively for an OTT platform, produced by Fahadh Faasil himself. The script is written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan.

#2 Irul
Irul stars Fahadh in the lead along with Soubin Shahir and Darshana Rajendran. Irul is directed by Naseef Yusuf Izuddin. Jomon T John, Shameer’s Plan J Studio and Anto Joseph have teamed up to produce Irul. Jomon T John is the director of photography while Shameer Muhammed hired for editing. The movie is entirely revolves around three characters, currently streaming on Netflix.

Joji (2021) is a crime drama that explores themes such as greed, desire, murder and secrets. The movie is produced by Dilesh Pothan, Syam Pushkaran and Fahadh Faasil under the banners of Fahadh Faasil and Friends, Bhavana Studios and Working Class Hero. Bhavana Studios is partnered by Dileesh, Fahadh and Syam. Apart from starring Fahadh in the lead, Joji also features Baburaj, Unnimaya Prasad, Shammi Thilakan, Alister Alex and Basil Joseph. The film has music by Justin Varghese, while Kiran Das will be taking care of the editing.

‘Malik’ has been waiting for a theatrical release for over 15 months now, so the producer has taken the right decision at the right time. Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming film Malik is likely to skip the theatrical release and opt for a direct-to-digital launch. Recently Producer Anto Joseph confirmed the same in a open letter to the Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation. Also, he has mentioned the financial problems of producers in waiting for Theaters to reopen.
