A few films take too long to premiere on the OTT platforms after underperforming in the theaters. Malayalam film “Checkmate,” which was released in August 2024, hasn’t been premiered on any OTT platform so far.
The Zee5 OTT platform has now finally acquired the OTT streaming rights for this film and officially announced that it will be available for streaming in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on October 02, 2025.
Anoop Menon, Lal, Rekha Harindran, Rajalekshmy, Viswam Nair, Anjali Mohanan, and a few others are part of this movie cast.
