She completed high school at Sophia in Bengaluru and her pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College in the same city. Deepika was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 5, 1986 (she will be 36 in 2022), but she spent most of her childhood in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Ever since she was a little girl, she had dreams of following in her father’s footsteps and becoming a badminton player. During her high school years, she became a national badminton champion.
