Verdict

Season 1 of this series was based on the real incident that shook the nation and narrated it from Police investigation point of view. Season 2 looks a little over cinematic, as the plot of this season has many elements added to engage the audience. However, series keeps you engaged showcasing the inequality among the people in India and oppression that is still existing in the country. Some scenes are hard hitting and make us think about the conditions we are unaware about the people living in slums.

When it comes to the performances, Shefali Shah once again proves how good actor she is and makes us believe that she a real character and the situations going on screen look so natural, when she is on screen. Rasika Duggal is another underrated actor, who always shines when given an opportunity. Adil Hussain has a limited role in the series and did a good job. Few actors who played slum people were noticeable and all other actors did their part as required.

Technically this series looks very good. Background music composed by Andrew Lockington is one of the major highlights in the series. Many scenes are elevated in the series just because of his wonderful background music. Cinematography is top notch and brings the exact mood for the film and the shots look much darker to get involved in the series.

Tanuj Chopra & Rajesh Mapuskar were okay with their making and were successful in making the audience to get involved in the narration.

Overall, Delhi Crime season 2 is another crime drama that will definitely keeps the audience engaged with its raw and realistic making.
