Emraan Hashmi Early Life
Emraan Hashmi was born in Pulgaon, Maharashtra, India, on March 24, 1979 (making him 42 years old as of 2021). From an early age on, he displayed a natural talent for acting. As a young child, Emraan starred in a number of commercials for various companies. Before he became a household name in Bollywood, he worked behind the scenes on the film “Raaz” as an assistant director.
The Hashmi family, of which Emraan is a part, is Muslim. He is a devout member of the Shia branch of Islam. His famous businessman and actor father is Anwar Hashmi. Actress Maherahh Hashmi, his mother, passed away from cancer in March of 2016. Calvin Hashmi is Emraan’s brother. He is the nephew of director and producer Mahesh Bhatt. Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt, Rahul Bhatt, and Shaheen Bhatt are all cousins of Emraan’s.
Emraan wed Parveen Shahani on a small, intimate ceremony on December 14, 2006, after dating her for six years. The Hashmis’ son, Aayan, was born in 2010, making him the youngest member of the family.

In the film “Footpath,” directed by Vikram Bhatt, Emraan made his Bollywood debut. His performance was praised by critics, who acknowledged that the film did not do well at the box office.
