Anudeep KV’s First Day First Show Movie Review & Ratings | Hit or Flop?

First Day First Show Movie Review: Anudeep KV’s stardom skyrocketed during the marketing for Jathiratnalu, therefore he probably doesn’t need any introduction. As a director, he stands out for his unique sense of humour and his signature body language. He is currently producing Prince, starring Siva Karthikeyan.

First Day First Show Movie Review

The plot of the film First Day, First Show was, nevertheless, written by Anudeep KV. Anudeep followed Jathiratnalu’s lead and employed the same promotional method to gain recognition. However, as of today, September 2, 2022, the film has been released and is being well received. Let’s dive right into the meat of the review and find out if this movie is worth your time.

Story

A man who enjoys life to the fullest and is a huge Pawan Kalyan fan must see Khushi on its opening day. Meanwhile, the man had fallen in love with a girl named Laya; amusingly, she asked him to obtain Khushi first-day tickets, but he couldn’t go out owing to the crowd. Does he have a chance of capturing her heart in the long run? As for the rest of the story, will he catch the day’s premiere?

Cast & Crew

Several people, including Srikanth Reddy, Sanchita Bashu, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, CVL Narasimha Rao, Prabhas Sreenu, and Mahesh Achanta, helped Anudeep KV write the script. The film’s directors were Vamshidhar Goud and Lakshminarayana Puttamchetty, and the cinematography was done by Prasanth Ankireddy. Radhan composed the score for the film, which was produced by Srija Edida and Sriram Edida under the banners of Poornodaya Pictures, Srija Entertainment, and Mitravinda Movies.

Movie Verdict

You’ll probably have a good time if you don’t care about the plot, but the film gets off to a strong start by depicting the actual situation in a theatre on the film’s opening day (a scene with which audiences will identify), but then it shifts into a more traditional love story, and the first half of the film is largely unremarkable outside of a few funny bloopers.

Since the entire screenplay consists of stock comic set pieces, a formulaic love tale, and a dumb denouement, the second act only holds your interest for a little period of time. It’s hardly anything special, but First Day, First Show is a satirical film.

Srikant Reddy, who seemed at ease speaking in the Telangana dialect, is good in his role, while Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Prabhas Sreeenu, and Mahesh Achanta are all superb in theirs.

The story by Anudeep KV is generic and was written solely for humour. With the help of his assistant Vamshidhar Goud (who also appeared in the film), he may have written a more engaging script. While watching the film, you might think you spot Anudeep KV in a different part.

Some of the songs are decent, but they remind us of Jathi Rathnalu songs, and the film’s background soundtrack and cinematography by Radhan and Prasanth Ankireddy are only somewhat outstanding, so the film just scrapes by technically. In contrast, the rest of the technical aspects are top-notch, meeting the needs of the story well.

Finally, a comedy film worth watching is First Day, First Show.
