The Malayalam filmmakers are experimenting with limited budgets; while a few of those are working wonders, a few others, like “Footage,” are bombing at the box office.
This is an experimental thriller film that was released in August 2024. The dosage of adult scenes in this movie is also high. But the movie failed to engage the Malayalam audience with its weak writing and narration.
The OTT streaming rights for this technically sound film are acquired by the Sun NXT OTT platform and it will be available for streaming on September 05, 2025.
Manju Warrier, Vishak Nair, and Gayathri Ashok played the lead roles. Saiju Sreedharan directed the film. Bineesh Chandran and Saiju Sreedharan are the producers. Shinoz is the cinematographer.
