She received her undergraduate education in History at Lady Sriram College in New Delhi after finishing at the Loreto Convent School in Delhi. She graduated and then enrolled in a six-month fashion design course at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. When Gauri was young, she developed a deep interest in art that has never waned.

On October 8, 1970 (she is now 48 years old) in New Delhi, India, Gauri was born. Her father was a military man, thus she had a very regimented upbringing. Gauri’s parents are Hindu. She was born to the late Colonel (army) Ramesh Chandra Chhibber and Savita Chibber. Vikrant Chibber is her brother. When Gauri was 14 years old, she had her first encounter with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She was married to Shah Rukh on October 25, 1991, after dating him for seven years.
Gauri Khan Career
When “Main Hoon Na” was released in 2004, Gauri made her producing debut. The film was so successful at the box office that it ended up as the year’s second-highest earner. Gauri and her husband are co-owners of the film studio Red Chillies Entertainment. She went on to produce movies like “Om Shanti Om” and “Happy New Year.” She appeared briefly in each film as well. Gauri’s “Cocktails and Dreams” collection for the label Satya Paul was released in 2016.
While doing up the interior of her home, which she called “Mannat,” she took up the profession as a hobby. When she met Sussane Khan, an interior designer, in 2010, the two began working together. Gauri and Sussane Khan founded “The Charcoal Project” in 2011. So in 2014, she opened The Design Cell, an interior design shop in Mumbai. She and other contemporary Indian furniture designers are represented in the shop. The following year, in 2017, she opened her own design studio, Gauri Khan Designs.
