Ishaan Khatter comes from a long line of actors. As a result, he became interested in acting and ultimately decided to make it his profession. In 2005, he debuted as a child actor in the film ‘Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!’ directed by his brother. After graduating from Billabong High International School in Mumbai, he moved on to study abroad. Ishaan decided to take his dancing to the next level, so he enrolled in Shiamak Davar’s dance school.
Ishaan assisted on a number of films during his college years, including the critically acclaimed “Udta Punjab.” In addition, he appeared briefly in “Udta Punjab.”
His first leading role was in the 2017 film Beyond the Clouds, which had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival and was directed by the renowned filmmaker Majid Majidi. Now he is focusing on his next film, “Dhadak,” which will star Jhanvi Kapoor. The film is an adaptation of the successful Marathi film Sairat into Hindi.
